Improve with Vivi

Hello everyone 🙂

I am so glad that my website is finally launched. :)))))) It’s been an enormous challange, to set the whole thing up, as I have never tried to create anything similar. I know there’s still a lot to improve but I am just so happy with the result.

It is just beautiful to see the result of something you created on your own, including the smallest details of it. <3

In this post I wanted to share my experiences about learning words with the application named Drops. As I am currently learning Spanish, I use the app almost each day, to extend my vocabulary. And I am amazed so far!

Although some symbols are easy to misunderstand, the excercises are great and I have learnt already a lot in a cheerful, light way. As I am working almost the whole day in front of the computer, I recognized I need an easy going, playful approach to improve my skills in Spanish.

Although I am not paying for the premium version, almost all topics are accesible. One is only allowed to use the app free of charge for 5 minutes at once (altogether 10 minutes per day). 10 minutes per day is just perfect if you are busy.

Also you can download the app to various devices. I have installed it on my IPhone and IPad as well. Thanks to that, I can practice 20 minutes per day.

Regarding the topics, they cover almost everything. From household items to science, music and biology. Also, if you have already reached the intermediate level, you can learn a lot of expressions and not only words.

Having learnt some Korean for fun, I can assure that even languages with non-Latin alphabets are supported. You can chose to have a Latin script to ease the pronounciation but with the voice on, it is actually not necessary. I found it more efficient to practice reading, while learning the new words.

Because of these features I started to recommend this app to my students. Beginners tend to improve their vocabulary faster. In addition, students over B1+ have become faster to understand complex articles.

For learning German for academic or professional purposes I also recommend apps that help students to learn the articles. Do you have any guess which apps I prefer?

Let me know what you think! I hope you liked my first article!

I guess it’s not necessary to say, but just in case… this is not a sponsored article. As you see, I am pretty new in this online environment 🙂
